Cinta The Label Releases New Après Ski Collection
It’s that time of year when the jet set hits the winter getaways, from Aspen to the Swiss Alps. While there are countless, star-studded parties in the snow-capped mountains this winter, fashion plays a key role, both on and off the slopes.
One brand tapping into the Après Ski trend is British fashion brand, Cinta The Label. Their new Après Ski Collection was released this week with a collection of eight new sweaters, ranging from the Rose sweater to the Margot. All of the items are made from a mix of recycled wool and polyester.
“Our new Après Ski Collection is a playful nod to the celebratory side of ski culture—it’s all about the fun that happens off the slopes,” said Cinta’s founder, Amy Sturgis.
“The concept inspired bold design elements like feather detailing and the peplum silhouette, emphasizing glamour and movement,” she said. “We build each drop around specific themes and seasons.”
Some of the items include the Blanca sweater, a cream knit sweater with black collar, made of recycled wool. It’s a perfect mix of classy and cozy, and is a great option to zip under your snowsuit while cross country skiing.
Other sweaters from the collection include the bestselling Rose Knit sweater, a wine red cardigan with pearl buttons with a peplum finish. “The Rose sweater evokes a sense of romance with its bold red hue and fitted silhouette,” said Sturgis.
Meanwhile, the Margot sweater in black has unique pockets and a stand out collar. “The Margot feels whimsical, matching a softer, feminine aesthetic,” she said. “Each sweater name is thoughtfully selected to capture the spirit of the woman we envision wearing the piece—someone strong, expressive, and effortlessly stylish.”
Even if you don’t ski in the winter, these knit sweaters are dressy enough for a night out. “Après ski dressing adds a sense of fun and personality to the ski experience,” said Sturgis. “It’s become such a defining part of mountain culture, transforming how we think about fashion beyond functional skiwear.”
This new collection is inspired by the alpine lifestyle. “It combines warmth, luxury, and elegance,” said Sturgis. Made from recycled cotton, the collection features timeless silhouettes for embracing the winter weather in style.
“I love how it makes the whole experience more dynamic; chic layers, statement pieces, and bold details make getting dressed in the mountains just as exciting as the activities themselves,” she said.
Sustainability is central to the brand’s ethos with small production batches, mindful production and carefully curated drops to avoid overproduction. Their signature sweater blend is made of 50 percent recycled wool and 50 percent recycled polyester, both sourced from India.
“The recycled polyester is reclaimed directly from landfill, reinforcing our no-waste policy and dedication to reducing environmental impact,” said Sturgis.
Next up, Cinta The Label is focusing on their next release, “For Lovers,” launching next month for Valentine’s Day. “It leans into romantic hues of pink and red for Valentine’s Day; this collection is centered around romance, with a campaign that celebrates love and connection.”
