Circa Sports Kentucky opens temporary sportsbook at The Mint Gaming Hall KY Downs

FRANKLIN, Ky. (WBKO) – Circa Sports Kentucky has opened its temporary sportsbook at The Mint Gaming Hall KY Downs in Franklin.

The temporary retail sportsbook opened Monday, Aug. 12, and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., according to to the facility’s vice president and general manager, Johan Mirkovic.

The permanent sportsbook is scheduled to open in August 2025 and is being constructed on the other side of the temporary sportsbook. It will be one of the largest retail sportsbooks in the country outside of Las Vegas, Mirkovic said.
