City of Davenport to host small business workshop
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – The City of Davenport is offering an educational opportunity for small business owners to learn how to do business with municipalities including the City of Davenport and the City of Bettendorf.
The city says the workshop covers the process of registering as a supplier, finding bid opportunities, and submitting proposals.
The workshop will also cover how to become certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise as certified by the State of Iowa, the city said.
The workshop will be held at 10 a.m. on Dec. 11 in the Davenport Public Library Fairmount Branch meeting rooms, the city said.
The event does not require registration and is hosted at no cost in collaboration with the City of Bettendorf, according to the City of Davenport.
