City of Gainesville hosts annual business matchmaker event
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) -Business owners in Gainesville can connect with others at the city’s business matchmaker event.
Qualified businesses can connect with government contractors and other business owners.
Mentorship programs and financial workshops will be available for people to sign up for.
Director of Equity and Inclusion Zeriah Folston said events like these have a great impact on the community.
It’s the desire of the City of Gainesville, desired by the mayor and commissioners to see every size of business flourish and grow,” said Folston. “We’re seeing most importantly businesses integrate so, we do our part to make sure we are strengthening the business community here locally.”
Mayor Harvey Ward and Greater Gainesville President Eric Godet will speak at the event.
The event takes place at the University of Florida Reitz Union Rion Ballroom, on 655 Reitz Union Dr. (3rd Floor) from 10 am to 2 pm.
This event is free and open to the public, and free parking will be provided. Registration is not required
