City of North Las Vegas holds job fair, looks to fill more than 200 jobs
North Las Vegas (KSNV) — The City of North Las Vegas is looking to re-up staffing ahead of the summer by hosting a job fair to fill several positions.
The job fair took place at North Las Vegas City Hall.
A recruiter said the city is looking to fill more than 200 jobs, including part and full-time positions.
Teens who are 16 years and older can apply for several positions in the Parks and Recreation Department.

Job fairs are becoming a much-needed resource as the state battles an unemployment rate of 5.2%, according to DETR, the state’s employment department.
Rafael Torres recently graduated from college and said it’s been a struggle to find work and attended Wednesday’s job fair in hopes of landing a position in data analytics.
“It’s been tough to find work,” said Torress. “Hopefully with me showing up here, that will change.”
