Claudette A. (Cote) Grohosky

Greenland, NH – Claudette A. (Cote) Grohosky, 89, formerly of Hudson, New Hampshire, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on December 1, 2024.

She was born on March 29, 1935, in Nashua, NH, to the late Leon A. Cote and Dorothy E. (Lampron).

Claudette attended Alvirne High School in Hudson, New Hampshire, graduating Valedictorian in 1953, being in the first class to complete all 4 years at Alvirne. Upon graduation, Claudette worked at Nashua Corporation until their first child was born. Claudette returned to Alvirne High School as the cafeteria manager, where she worked for 27 years, seeing many past students return as faculty and staff. She later worked at her daughter’s flower shop, Anne’s Country Florals, in Hudson.

In her free time, Claudette loved gardening, puzzles, knitting, cooking, bird watching, and vacations to Disney World.

Claudette is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Edward, G. Grohosky, in 2014.; brother, Sylvio; sisters, Florence, Claire, Pauline, Sylvia.

She is survived by her daughter, Anne Marshall & husband Tim of Greenland, her son, Steven Grohosky of Hopkinton, grandson, Benjamin Marshall of Greenland, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Immaculate Conception Church of Corpus Christi Parish, Summer Street in Portsmouth. Interment will be held in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Hudson.
