Cleveland Browns don’t renew Aramark’s contract; more than 100 workers out of a job
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – More than 100 Aramark custodial workers have lost their jobs at Cleveland Browns Stadium.
According to a letter from Aramark Facility Services sent to Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb, the company was just informed on July 26 their services at the stadium would not be needed after Aug. 1.
“We regret to inform you that all Aramark employees assigned to that client account will be affected,” wrote an Aramark Human Resources official in the letter to the city.
There are a total of 104 workers affected.
Aramark said they may be offered employment with the incoming provider.
