Cleveland County issues flood alert, advises against travel in three towns

Cleveland County has released a flooding alert, citing high water levels in Noble,Slaughterville, andLexington.

According to District 3 Cleveland County Commissioner, Rusty Grissom, travel is extremely hazardous.

Additionally, the county has run out of signs to mark high waters and flooded zones.

Residents of Noble, Slaughterville, and Lexington are advised to stay indoors and avoid driving.

Grissom also alerted that water on roadways may be deeper than it appears.
