Clock is ticking on ‘Travel Tuesday’ deals

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The clock is ticking for those who want to take advantage of deals offered by Alaska Airlines on the day nicknamed “Travel Tuesday.”

Special Deals must be booked by 10:59 p.m. Alaska time Dec. 3 on the Alaska Airlines website. The code “CYBERWEEK24” must be entered to get the special fares.

Travel expert Scott McMurren said his favorite Travel Tuesday deal is a round-trip ticket from Anchorage to Miami for $258. Travel is on select dates starting in mid-January through mid-March, with some blackout dates in February.

The airline is also offering 30% off fares on select dates to destinations in Florida, Belize, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Mexico and the Bahamas. Those deals must also be booked by 10:59 p.m. on Dec. 3, with the fare code CYBERWEEK24.
