The U is back…in the top 10!
Following another weekend of chalk holding at the top of the polls, there wasn’t much movement in this week’s Coaches Poll Top 25, though the Miami Hurricanes moved up a couple of spots to enter the top 10 at No. 9 following a mostly comfortable 50-15 win over South Florida. The Canes replaced Missouri, who needed two overtimes to get past Vanderbilt 30-27, and has looked a bit shaky in each of its last two games.
The only other movement inside the top 10 involved Tennessee and Oregon swapping spots, as the Vols moved up one position to No. 6 following a 10-point road win over Oklahoma, which dropped five spots to No. 18 following the loss.
There were plenty of changes outside the top 10, including Michigan, Notre Dame and Clemson all recovering from early setbacks, as well as BYU and Illinois making their Coaches Poll debuts following upset wins over conference rivals.
Here’s the poll in its entirety.
