Coco Gauff Swiftly Transforms From Goofy to Glamorous in a Fashion Fiesta for Major Million American Brand’s Dazzling Idea

Coco Gauff isn’t only dazzling on the tennis courts; she’s making waves in the fashion world too! Known for her fierce skills and eye-catching style, Gauff has a way of lighting up any stage whether she’s smashing serves or stepping out in special outfits. And while her season has had its ups and downs, her relationship with fashion has just gotten more intense. This young American keeps her fans mesmerized, putting her style on display, like her game. And it’s just part of who she is—always bold, always chic, and always Coco.

The American sensation is yet again garnering spotlight and this time it is because of her brand partnership with Carol’s Daughter, a pioneering hair care brand. For the unversed, the multi-year deal came in around April this year with the brand worth $27 million, proclaiming that it will “uplift Black beauty for a powerful new generation.” And now, the brand and the player are capturing attention as Gauff reflects on her love for fashion in a promotional video.

Taking to its Instagram account, Carol’s Daughter shared a video of Gauff and American journalist Taylor Rooks engaging in a conversation while the player’s a hair treatment. In the video, Gauff can be heard expressing the importance of fashion and she said, “For me I was like, you know, just be as diverse with my hair as I can be.” She was quickly joined by Rooks who supported the player and said, “Your hair is such an expression of self. You want your moment be a moment.” This conversation made the 20-year-old reveal how her fashion helps her shine on the court.

You look good and you feel good and you feel good about yourself. It almost makes you perform better. When you walk on court with a good outfit, and your hair, your braids are fresh and your skin is looking good, then you just feel like ‘Okay I am gonna beat this girl today. I am going to beat you and you can’t beat my outfit and my hair.’,” Coco Gauff added. She also took to her Instagram story to share images from the shooting captioned, “Always getting me tournament ready 💜 .” Interestingly, this comes just days after Gauff revealed her love for the spooky season in a goofy move.

In a string of stories that Gauff shared on her Instagram on October 21, she can be seen enjoying the Halloween celebrations. Posting a video of a spooky doll, which transitions its expressions from friendly to terrifying, Gauff wrote, “Why she switch up on me like that? Like I thought we were friends again!?” In the subsequent story, she shared a picture of herself from outside a place that read “Halloween Horror Nights.” The star captioned, “Spooky szn is the best time of the year.” For Gauff, hairstyling has been an integral part of her fashion.

In 2023, the young sensation changed her hairstyle from box braids to intricate cornrows. “Honestly, I wanted to try this and I got tired of braids all the time. I like to change up my hair, I’ve tried color in the past with the braids and everything, but I just needed something different,” she said, expressing her inclination to trying new styles. But this is just a small part of her overall initiative to showcase black hairstyles.

And in doing so, she also wants to depict her ethnicity and be vocal about paying an ode to her culture. In an interview after her partnership with Carol’s Daughter this year, she highlighted that her hairstyle is not just a fashion statement.

Speaking in the interview, Gauff shared, “When I was young, I committed myself to showcasing Black hairstyles when I play, and that’s something that I take pride in. I like my hair, but braids are just easier. Especially when I sweat—when my hair isn’t in braids, the salt from my sweat dries out,” she added. As Gauff continues to take care of her hair, fans are wondering if we would see some new hairstyles during her upcoming matches.
