Columbus kids will have a new place for entertainment at this upcoming indoor playground

Families in Columbus will have a new place for their children to play next year as a national indoor playground brand comes to Muscogee County.

California-based Kids Empire is an indoor playground that offers games and activities for kids of all ages, including toddlers. The family entertainment concept has apparatuses for climbing, exploring, spinning and building. Locations also have big slides and a dance floor.

Play zones and activities are designed to inspire creativity, physical activity and social interaction, according to a news release from the Woodruff Brokerage Company.

The indoor playground company leased 11,200 square feet in The Landings, according to the news release, and is expected to to open next spring.

“Kids Empire will be a tremendous addition to The Landings, further enhancing the vibrant mix of businesses and family-friendly atmosphere of the area,” Woodruff Brokerage Company CEO Chris Woodruff said in the news release.

There are three Kids Empire locations in Georgia, according to the Kids Empire website, and the company has locations in 24 states.

“The lease of this substantial space to Kids Empire marks an exciting development for Columbus families and reflects Woodruff Brokerage Company’s commitment to enhancing community offerings in The Landings,” the news release says.
