JMP, a company that specializes in HVAC and plumbing, just announced an expansion to their operations in Greensboro.

With this comes a multi-million dollar investment and new jobs opportunities to the area.

This $30 million investment will bring 40 jobs and over 100 positions, something that the Chamber of Commerce will bring a lasting impact on the economy of Greensboro.

“What that’ll mean is additional money to the city of Greensboro and to Guilford county. Which gets to be put to use to things like parks and recreation and things that residents expect cities and counties to provide,” said Christensen, CEO & President of Greensboro Chamber of Commerce.

The company’s new jobs will bring an average wage of around $65,000…which the chamber of commerce notes will bring the overall average of Greensboro up.

In a press release sent out by Governor Cooper, he supported the expansion and said that Guilford county and North Carolina was one of the best places for class workforce and infrastructure.

The new headquarters will sit on Ritters Lake Road.

JMP did not give a date for the completion of the expansion.
