Concert Countdown: 11 Greenville shows to see in January
GREENVILLE — New year, new concerts.
This January, you’ll hear from the legendary Christian artist TobyMac, country musician Chris Janson and even a tribute party dedicated to one of the hottest artists in 2026.

Josh Blake’s Jukebox
What: Kick off the new year with a folk and western jukebox featuring Greenville-based singer-songwriter Darby Wilcox; Asheville-based jazz, R&B and rock artist Isaac Hadden; and more special guests.

Guitar Extravaganza
What: Guitars. Every note, all night. You’ll start the evening with happy hour and dinner before listening to all of the guitar performances that you can take. Visitors will hear three back-to-back-to-back concerts, including the Upstate-based Charles Hedgepath, acoustic guitar-playing Jacob Johnson and British fingerstyle guitarist Richard Smith.

Harry Potter in Concert
What: Listen to the Greenville Symphony perform the legendary score to the third Harry Potter movie, “Prisoner of Azkaban,” while the film is aired synchronously on a 40-foot screen.

Chris Janson

James Taylor Tribute
What: This tribute concert pays homage to 1970s star and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer James Taylor. The touring concert series will be led by Steve Leslie, a performer and songwriter who has worked with the likes of Kenny Rogers, George Strait and Darius Rucker.

The Local Honeys
What: These two Kentucky natives first met at Morehead State University. Now this acoustic-strumming duo has made country and folk music for over a decade as The Local Honeys, paying homage to their roots. Make no mistake of where they’re from. “Kentucky runs through their veins like an unbridled racehorse,” they say on their website.

Chappell Roan Night
What: Dance, dance and dance some more at this tribute party to one of the hottest pop stars of 2024, Chappell Roan.

Edvard Tchivzhel
What: Greenville Symphony Orchestra’s longtime conductor Edvard Tchivzhel takes the baton again. Tchivzhel ran the Greenville Symphony for nearly 25 years before stepping into the honorary role of Music Director Emeritus in 2023. Tchivzhel and the orchestra will perform Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4.

Niko Moon
What: If you’ve turned on the radio sometime in the past few years, you’ve probably heard Niko Moon’s U.S. Country Billboard chart-topping single, “Good Time.” But the 42-year-old country pop artist has also published multiple other songs with millions of streams including “Paradise to Me,” “These Are The Days” and “Fishin’ In The Dark.”
