Copenhagen Fashion Week Street Style Was a Multicolored, Maximalist Dream
If there’s one thing we can always rely on at Copenhagen Fashion Week, it’s the bright, colorful, joyful style we see on the sidewalks and in the streets outside the shows. For Spring 2025, showgoers’ outfits were even more vivid than usual, with guests prioritizing lots of vivid and vibrant solid pieces. From monochromatic cherry red maxi dresses to fluorescent Kelly green polo shirts and baby blue two-piece sets, there was a rarely a neutral in sight.
On top of their eye-catching palettes, guests also often opted for voluminous, maximalist silhouettes. Some of the most dramatic shapes worn by showgoers included drop waist dresses from Cecilie Bahnsen, billowing wide-legged feathered trousers by Polish brand Poca & Poca and pleated patterned carabiner skirts by Chopova Lowena — a consistent crowd favorite.
As for accessories, attendees reached for their best statement bags, with many continuing the bag charm trend phenomenon by decorating them with kitschy keychains, beads, lanyards and plenty of other accoutrements.
