Cops Cycling for Survivors travel from Evansville to Tell City

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Cops Cycling for Survivors are heading out of Evansville and making their way to Tell City.

The organization’s mission is to honor the lives of those lost in the line of duty during the previous year.

In 2023, there were eight members of law enforcement that died including one K-9.

On Monday, the riders came through Evansville in honor of Deputy Sheriff Asson Hacker.

Those cycling in the Tri-State are now headed to Tell City in honor of Tell City Police Sgt. Heather Glenn.

They are set to depart for Tell City on Tuesday at 9 a.m.

The ride started in Indianapolis on Monday and will end on Saturday, July 20 back in Indianapolis.
