Cosplay World weekend event to take place at Greater Richmond Convention Center

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Cosplayers and cosplay enthusiasts are set to gather at the Greater Richmond Convention Center this weekend for Cosplay World.

Cosplay World will take place on Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Greater Richmond Convention Center in a weekend filled with cosplay contests, panels, workshops and more.

The event will also host several professional photo opportunities, as well as a vendor hall to shop unique artworks, shirts, anime and games.

Tickets for the event are $20 for Sunday, $25 for Saturday or $40 for the entire weekend. Children under the age of nine get in for free when accompanying an adult with a paid Adult ticket. To purchase tickets, visit the event’s webpage.
