Country music stars stepped out in high fashion for Wednesday’s CMA Awards

As the stars arrived on the red carpet for the 58th annual CMA Awards, it became evident everyone wanted to make a fashion statement whether it be a well-worn Stetson with a sharp jacket or a sparkly dress/cowboy boot combo, fashion choices made a statement Wednesday night.

Many of country music’s biggest names chose to bring a little bit of Hollywood glam to the CMA red carpet. Tigirlily Gold sisters Kendra and Krista Slaubaugh, for example, wore strapless, slim-fitted, floor-length gowns topped with soft updos. Artist Tiera Kennedy also opted for floor-length glamour in a black-and-white off-the-shoulder dress. Megan Moroney skipped her “Tennessee Orange” and opted for a beautiful royal blue dress with a mermaid flair at the floor.

Artist Kassi Ashton channeled the “Great Gatsby” in her floor-length sleeveless metallic dress with fabric that extended into a hood over the back of her head. Mackenzie Carpenter, Maddie Marlow of Maddie & Tae and Julie Williams also opted for elegant metallic silver.

Not to be outdone by the ladies, the members of Red Clay Strays added some color to the carpet wearing custom sage green, maroon and white suits bedazzled with flowers, skeletons, guitars and musical notes. Tucker Wetmore and Russell Dickerson opted for velvet jackets and headwear among the men Wednesday night was split between cowboy and baseball hats.
