Cowgirls Travel to Jon Messick Invitational – University of Wyoming Athletics

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Sept. 25, 2024) – The Wyoming Cowgirl tennis team continues their busy month of fall action with a trip down to Colorado State this weekend for the Jon Messick Invitational. Action in Fort Collins runs Friday through Sunday.

The Cowgirls are coming back from a trip down to Cancun, Mexico for the Princess Hotels College Cup last week. UW faced Cleveland State and Southeastern Louisiana at the event, with up-and-down results. Wyoming had a strong showing against SE Louisiana.

This weekend will be UW’s penultimate full team tournament of the fall. The Cowgirls yet will travel to Las Cruces, New Mexico for the ITA Mountain Regional Championships. Violetta Borodina and Dilnaz Mashabayeva will travel to Las Vegas next week for the Mountain West Fall Individuals.
