Defiance business offering free services to cancer patients

DEFIANCE, Ohio (WTVG) – Shining Light Esthetics is offering free services to cancer patients.

The one-woman-show, ran by Licensed Esthetician and Massage Therapist Lindsay Ellerbrock, will give those currently undergoing cancer treatment, a free facial or free massage. Ellerbrock said it’s part of her initiative aimed at supporting those who are in the fight.

“My whole motto for Shining Light Esthetics is just to be a light for people to see,” said Ellerbrock. “I just want to make them feel like a person, not a person with cancer.”

Ellerbrock adds she is also trained in oncology massages and facials.

“I’ve had a few people cry,” said Ellerbrock. “Just have that time to get away from the stress of treatments and cancer itself.”

Shining Light Esthetics is in downtown Defiance at 309 Clinton Street.
