“I’m truly excited about finally stepping out and basically stepping out on faith to get everything that I wanted,” Carson said.

Carson has been designing for about six years and makes men’s, women’s and children’s clothing along with shoes and accessories.

Her space has three separate areas for retail, sewing and embroidery.

Her work has been seen in a variety of places including Reed Arena. WNBA player Angel Reese was photographed with one of Carson’s bomber jackets when LSU played Texas A&M in January.

“My niece wanted to gift her something from me, and I was like, why not do a bomber jacket,” Carson said.

The designer credits her growth to her family, who helped her design her new space from the ground up.

Even her floor was hand-painted with the help of her husband, children and father.

“I’m just excited to start a new journey,” Carson said. “In 2024, y’all going to see a whole different side of what I can really do.”
