Dillon Gabriel, No. 8 Oregon football handle business against overmatched UCLA
PASADENA, Calif. — Oregon’s offense was in LA. Its defense showed up too. UCLA, while geography-based in town, albeit 28 miles away from the historic venue it calls home, was a hapless extra in a game that will mark a historic moment as the inaugural Big Ten game for the Ducks.
It was every bit the show expected of a top-10 team against an overmatched foe, at least in the first half. Dillon Gabriel was once again accurate and efficient, though he gave Tinseltown a dose of drama with his first interception of the season, which was returned by former Ducks safety Bryan Addison for a touchdown before halftime.
