Discovery World on Market brings Whoville to Parkersburg
PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – Discovery World on Market turned their building into Whoville for local families.
United Way and Discovery World on Market teamed up to hold a Character Breakfast. Kids could meet Elsa and other characters while enjoying a continental breakfast. They could pick out a holiday book to take home once they finished eating.
Following the breakfast, kids could go ice skating in Discovery World’s ice rink, do a Grinch STEM activity, have story time with Cindy Lou Who, and do a Cookie Jar Workshop. Queen Elsa was also in attendance for a few hours following the breakfast.
Wendy Shriver, Executive Director of Discovery World on Market, said it’s important to give kids the opportunity to have fun.
