All Star Path duties can be completed for free but some rewards are only available for a fee. In addition to getting access to more rewards, the Premium version lets players do more duties at a time, making it possible to complete the path faster. The Premium Star Path costs 2500 Moonstones or 3300 Moonstones for a head-start with 100 Tokens. The real-world value of the Moonstones varies by platform and amount, but these values equate to roughly $9 and $11 USD, respectively.

It’s also important to remember that some duties require players to unlock specific characters, locations, or recipes to complete in Disney Dreamlight Valley. In fact, there has been an increase in Star Path releases over time, with five released in 2023 and seven in 2024. Star Paths are released about every two or three months, and players can generally expect a new event to begin around one to four weeks after the previous one ends. Knowing when the next Star Path will begin is helpful for players to plan ahead and get caught up on all the available content, as well as potentially save up more Moonstones for the Premium path.
