Dodgers’ World Series journey celebrated by Baseball Hall of Fame with new display in Cooperstown

Artifacts from the Dodgers’ 2024 World Series championship run are now on display in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum’s ‘Autumn Glory’ exhibit.

World Series MVP Freddie Freeman, Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts were among the players who donated items to the museum to commemorate the team’s October triumphs. Individual achievements, like Max Muncy’s record-setting streak of reaching base in 12 consecutive postseason plate appearances and Anthony Banda’s four scoreless World Series relief appearances, are also on display in the exhibit.

The Dodgers’ 2024 World Series exhibit will be on display until the conclusion of the 2025 postseason. Next spring, the museum will announce programming dedicated to the Dodgers’ World Series championship.

These are the items on display in the ‘Autumn Glory’ exhibit:

– Freddie Freeman’s spikes used in Game 1 and Game 2 of the World Series

– Shohei Ohtani’s jersey worn in Game 3 of the World Series

– Dave Roberts’ World Series cap

– Walker Buehler’s glove used in the World Series

– Will Smith’s chest protector and cap used in the World Series

– Anthony Banda’s World Series jersey

– A game-used ball from the ninth inning in Game 5 of the World Series

– Tommy Edman’s batting helmet

– Mookie Betts’ batting gloves

– Max Muncy’s bat and batting gloves

In addition to these items, the exhibit will include longtime Japanese baseball writer Mamoru Shikama’s World Series media credential, representing the historic coverage of the 2024 World Series by the Japanese press.
