Don’t miss this Labor Day deal on Amazon’s Kindle e-reader

Happy one-week-’til-Labor-Day! Though the holiday won’t be here for another week, the holiday sales are already starting to roll in with major savings available now at retailers all across the internet. Of course, that includes Amazon offering up to 40% off top brands.

Right now, Amazon’s basic Kindle is on a limited-time sale, so you can snag a new e-reader at the same price it was back in July during Prime Day — but unlike Prime Day, anyone can shop the Kindle at 15% off — or just $84.99 — today.

Amazon Prime members still get perks, though; you could get your brand new Kindle just one day after buying it with free one-day shipping. You’ll have it in your hands before the holiday weekend even starts, so you can soak up those last rays of summer with a good book.

This deal won’t last forever so if you’re still regretting not snagging the Kindle on sale during Prime Day, we recommend snagging one now — we promise you won’t regret it.

The basic Kindle model is available in two colors (black and denim, pictured above) and with the option to get it with or without a three-month Kindle Unlimited free trial (for the record, we recommend getting it with Kindle Unlimited!).

Kindle Unlimited is Amazon’s library-like program that gives subscribers access to over 4 million free titles across every genre. It even includes magazines! After the three-month free trial is up, Kindle Unlimited costs $11.99/month.
