‘Dragons and Mythical Beasts’ coming to Topeka Performing Arts Center

Get ready for a whimsical show at the Topeka Performing Arts Center.

“Dragons and Mythical Beasts” will bring puppets to life in a magical world of myths and legends. The show will unveil a myriad of dark secrets and come face to face with some of the most magnificent monsters and terrifying beasts ever to walk the earth, a TPAC news release said.

From the creators of “Dinosaur World Live, Dragons and Mythical Beasts” is an Olivier Award nominee for Best Family Entertainment and an Entertainment Now Award Winner for Best Show for Kids.

Those who attend will experience the discovery of the “colossal Stone Troll, the mysterious Indrik and Japanese Baku; the Tooth Fairy (not as sweet as you’d think), an adorable Unicorn, and majestic Griffin, ” the release said. “Take your place among legendary heroes, just don’t wake the Dragon.”

When is the ‘Dragons and Mythical Beasts’ Show?

The Dragons and Mythical Beasts Show will be 6 p.m. Feb 25 at The Topeka Performing Arts Center, 214 S.E. 8th Ave.

This show is deemed appropriate for children ages 3 and older.

When can you purchase tickets for the show?

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, October 11.

Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com. They can also be purchased from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday at the TPAC box office.

Prices for tickets are expected to be $36, $31, $26 and $21, and additional fees may apply.
