Dreamliner Acquires Two Entertainment Logistics Companies – RV PRO

Dreamliner, provider of upscale travel coaches for the entertainment industry’s artists, announced that it has acquired two events logistics companies, Denver-based Shomotion and Nashville-based Show Pro, both of which founders will be joining the Dreamliner executive team.

The strategic acquisitions secure Dreamliner’s lead standing in the events transportation and logistics industry as it expands deeper into music and beyond, the company said, becoming a full-service transportation logistics company. In addition, Dreamliner expands its client offerings with new categories that include motion picture productions, mobile marketing campaigns, theatrical productions and festivals throughout North America.

Dreamliner will retain all Shomotion and Show Pro employees, which is expected to include 65 full-time employees and will expand its footprint by gaining Shomotion’s five-acre Denver facility and Show Pro’s three-acre Nashville facility. In addition, the acquisition adds over 70 trucks and 220 trailers, including air ride van trailers, drop deck van trailers, liftgate trailers and step deck flatbeds.

“This merger is a historic milestone in the entertainment logistics sector,” said Shomotion founder and CEO Michael Scherkenbach, who will continue to lead the Denver transportation services division. “The combined company will have the scale, breadth, and capabilities to provide unparalleled ground transportation solutions tailored to the entertainment touring industry,” Scherkenbach added. Shomotion’s client roster, curated for over 20 years, includes Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Taylor Swift, Coldplay and Elton John, which expands service capabilities to each existing Dreamliner client and a number of new ones.

Dreamliner will also retain Show Pro founders and co-owners Kat Stiller and Curtis Jackson, who will work closely with Scherkenbach to lead the transportation services division. With the acquisition, Dreamliner will expand its Nashville footprint and service capabilities to support existing Dreamliner clients and Show Pro relationships. Show Pro has serviced clients including Jelly Roll, SZA, 21 Savage, The Kid Laroi and more.

“These are two companies that our team at Show Pro has either worked directly with or alongside, allowing us to build immense trust and respect in what we all have built and can achieve,” said Stiller, Show Pro’s co-founder and owner. “When looking at the future, we know Dreamliner has the capabilities and passion in the industry to bring our combined companies to new heights.”

Within four years of the company’s founding, Dreamliner has come to serve notable clients including Morgan Wallen, Zach Bryan, Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, Chris Stapleton, Pink, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo, The Weeknd, Beyoncé, Tool, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Black Crowes, Luke Bryan and many more. Dreamliner’s growth path continues to widen with a total of four acquisitions since its inception in late 2020, increasing the company’s footprint and expanding its hold over the entertainment transportation industry.

“Since Dreamliner’s inception, our team, including drivers, mechanics, custom builders and office staff have all been a critical differentiator in how we operate and provide an unmatched service,” said Rich Thomson, Dreamliner founder and CEO. “Following these acquisitions, our team is benefiting from over 50 years of combined experience from Shomotion and Show Pro’s industry leaders. By adding Mike, Curtis and Kat’s experience to our best in class coaches and services, we will bring a full one-stop solution to all touring transportation needs.”

These acquisitions place Dreamliner in every major North American music tour between new trucks and buses, adding value to Dreamliner’s client base for event transportation logistics. According to Thomson, the company expects to see an immediate revenue increase of over 40% in 2025. With two acquisitions of this scale, Dreamliner said it stands to be the largest provider of entertainer coaches and trucking services in the world.
