Du Quoin State Fair announces 2024 Grandstand Lineup

DU QUOIN, Ill. (KFVS) – The Du Quoin State Fair announced its 2024 Grandstand lineup.

The variety of entertainment includes country, rock ‘n roll, harness racing and ARCA and USAC auto races.

Organizers said there are two headline acts yet to be announced, which should take place in the coming weeks.

Here is the lineup:

• Saturday, Aug. 24: Mitchell Tenpenny
• Sunday, Aug. 25: The Marshall Tucker Band
• Monday, Aug. 26: Harness racing
• Tuesday, Aug. 27: Harness racing
• Wednesday, Aug. 28: Harness racing
• Thursday, Aug. 29: KANSAS
• Friday, Aug. 30: Ashley McBryde
• Saturday, Aug. 31: USAC Silver Crown & DIRTcar UMP Modifieds (day race)
• Saturday, Aug. 31: Grandstand act to be announced
• Sunday, Sept. 1: ARCA Menards Series 100 & DIRTcar UMP Modifieds (night race)
• Monday, Sept. 2: Grandstand act to be announced

Tickets to all Du Quoin State Fair Grandstand shows are on sale at the Du Quoin Grandstand box office and through Ticketmaster.

In-person-only pre-sale grandstand tickets will go on sale at the fairgrounds box office from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 18 during a special celebrating 100 days until the fair. The free event also includes parking pass purchases, concessions and a plant and book sale. Ticketmaster sales open at 12 p.m.

“The 100 Days Out event kicks off the countdown to the Du Quoin State Fair,” said Du Quoin State Fair Manager Luke Davison in a released statement. “We invite the community to join us Saturday to get Grandstand tickets and parking passes and stick around for the fair food vendors, plant sale and book sale. It’s going to be a great day on the grounds.”

The Twilight Parade will kick off the opening of the fair on Friday, August 23 at 6 p.m.

The Du Quoin State Fair runs from Friday, Aug. 23 through Monday, September 2.

Admission to the fair is free.

Parking is $15 for Gate 1 and $10 for all other gates and free on Friday, Aug. 23 only. Seasonal parking passes are available for $30, good for the duration of the fair.
