Dua Lipa rewrites winter fashion rules with fur bra and matching coat

For many of us, January is a month for wrapping up really warm (see: oversized scarves, cute knitted hoods etc). But, according to Dua Lipa, all you need is a faux fur bra and matching faux fur coat. Take notes…

Sharing a series of new year celebration photos to her Instagram, the singer once again proved she’s an outfit icon, rewriting the winter fashion rulebook with her barely-there look.

In the pics, Dua wears a navy blue faux fur bra with black spaghetti straps and a matching oversized fur coat in the same navy blue shade. As for her bottom half, Dua sports black leather pants, belted at the hips — giving us all a glimpse at her toned abs and Y2K belly button piercing.

Like the majority of her recent ‘fits — including her top-to-toe lace catsuit and tiny white hotpants — this faux fur bra situ went down a real treat with fans, racking up almost two million likes in just a few hours.

In the comments section, however, fans couldn’t help but point out the sparkling diamond ring on Dua’s finger. Although the piece is just one of many jewellery items she’s wearing in the photos — we spotted a pair of diamond earrings, a diamond cross necklace, a silver wrist cuff and several more rings — fans were particularly intrigued about this ring, which she’s been spotted wearing on her ‘engagement’ finger in recent photos on her feed.

“Girl is doing everything but confirming the engagement,” one fan wrote, as someone else suggested a different theory, writing: “Maybe it’s just a promise ring?”

Although Dua is yet to make any official announcements about her romance with Callum Turner, she did include a sweet photo of them sharing a crowded New Year’s kiss in the carousel.
