Dua Lipa wore two almost identical Jacquemus dresses in one day

Jacquemus is celebrating 15 years in the business – and yesterday, the house marked the occasion with a predictably fabulous show in Capri, which included a very starry front row with the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in attendance and Blackpink’s Jennie Kim making her catwalk debut. Also there to celebrate was the always stylish Dua Lipa who was pictured in two almost identical Jacquemus dresses.

Spotted on a boat en route to the show, Lipa wore a baby blue sheer gown with scooped back detail. She styled it with skinny blue sunglasses, black strappy heels and a burgundy leather clutch bag.

When she arrived at the show, however, the singer was seen in a similar blue dress by the house, which had the same low-back and halter silhouette, but was in a stiff suede material. She kept the same bag, but changed her sunglasses to a black pair and her shoes to a burgundy double-heeled style, which matched the clutch.

Although it is not clear why Lipa wore two such similar dresses, it may be that the suede dress was too hot to wear for the entire day, so she just slipped into it before the show began. The collection – which was entitled ‘La Casa’ – was presented at Casa Malaparte, which is only accessible by boat and features 99 steps up to the house, which guests had to hike up. On a hot summer day in Italy, we can see why Lipa wanted to change into her outfit just before she headed to the show.

On Instagram, the singer shared a gushing message to the designer and his milestone moment. “What a beautiful day and a breathtaking ‘La Casa’ show at Casa Malaparte,” she said, also commenting on her “beautiful custom Capri Blue dress”.
