Dua Lipa’s top-to-toe black lace ‘fit is everything

If you thought layering a mini dress over a top-to-toe lace catsuit wouldn’t work, then think again. Dua Lipa did just that over the holiday season, sharing photos of the upgraded LBD look to her Instagram feed on New Year’s Eve.

In the photos — captioned: “Last days of 2024 🌹” — the singer wears a long-sleeve floral lace one-piece that travels from her neck all the way down to her toes, over which she wears a pair of pointy heels. On closer inspection, even Dua‘s pumps are detailed with lace, featuring a black lacy tip to match the catsuit, while the cherry-red heel and ankle straps (tied into bows as a nod to one of 2024’s hottest trends) provide a pop of contrasting colour.

While for most, this lacy black catsuit would be a stand-out look on its own, Dua takes things one step further, layering a black mini dress over the top. The LBD in question would also look absolutely stun on its own, with its spaghetti straps, frilly neckline and layered lacy skirt.

As for accessories, while we can’t see a purse or bag in the pics, we can see Dua’s opted for very minimal jewellery. No earrings, no necklaces, just a glistening gold ring on her finger… and a martini in her hand.

Clearly we aren’t the only ones who love the Levitating singer’s lace look as, within just hours of posting, it has already racked up over 1.5 million Instagram likes.
