Duo Stole 55k Worth of Jewelry From BK Shopping Mall: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — A unknown man and woman stole $55,000 worth of a jewelry from a kiosk stand at the Kings Plaza Mall last weekend, police said.

The incident happened on May 25 at about 11:48 p.m., police said.

Two individuals gained access to the mall by walking through the parking garage and prying a door open, police said.

Once inside, the individuals walked up to a jewelry stand, removed the jewelry and then fled the scene on foot, police said.

There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
