Earth Day, Mother’s Day, More: Walt Whitman Shops Spring Events

HUNTINGTON STATION, NY — Fun and educational family-friendly events are coming to Walt Whitman Shops this spring, Simon announced in a news release.

• Earth Day Event
  • Friday, April 26 from noon – 3 p.m. in Center Court
  • Join to learn how you can decrease your environmental footprint and make a positive impact on the planet! Plus, enjoy free bath bomb making with LUSH, tastings from sweetgreen, discounts from Madewell (with Denim Donation), and so much more! Learn more here.
  • This month, Walt Whitman Shops partnered with Helping Hands Rescue Mission in Huntington Station to collect donations such as non-perishable food or diapers/wipes for community members in need. The mall will keep a donation box in the Mall Management Office until April 26. HHRM will also be collecting donations and sharing information about their mission at the event.
• Make a Bouquet for Mother’s Day
  • Friday, May 10 from 1 to 5 p.m. in Center Court
  • Join in for a fun afternoon of crafting and love! Kids, come create a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a personalized greeting card to give your amazing mom or mother-figure. The event and crafts are free and in partnership with the Suffolk County Police Department. Learn more here.

  • Saturday, May 18 from noon to 5 p.m. in Center Court
  • Don’t miss out on this opportunity to meet with local home service providers who’ll be onsite showcasing their work, answering your home project questions, and even scheduling at-home appointments. Enjoy light bites and refreshments from our dining partners, plus, shop home furnishings and decor from retailers such as Arhaus, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Baby, PB Teen, West Elm, Anthropologie, Casper, Tempur-Pedic, and more!
