The East St. Tammany Business Alliance celebrated its Business Appreciation Awards with a luncheon held May 7 at the Harbor Center.

Multiple members and member businesses were nominated in a variety of categories. The winners include:

  • Lowry, Dunham, Case & Vivien — winner of the Legacy Award, which recognizes a business with more than 15 years of excellence, as well as an active commitment to the community.
  • The Harbor Center — winner of the Excellence in Customer Service Award, for consistently demonstrating the highest level of customer service.
  • Krewe of Dionysus — winner of the Most Significant Community Service Award, for empowering members to volunteer and support the community and its nonprofit groups through time and/or financial means.
  • Sirincci Coffee Company — winner of the Best New Business Award presented to a business in operation less than three years that’s had a positive impact on the community.
  • Northshore Ace Hardware — winner of the Best Commitment to Spending Local Award for its promotion of the “Spend Local” concept and its support of local businesses.
  • Tres Co + Monarch Beauty — winner of the Best Curb Appeal Award for how its outward appearance enhances the community.
  • In-Telecom — Winner of the Most Innovative Business Award.
  • Wayne Songy — Winner of the Most Active Member Award, for Alliance engagement and utilizing tools it makes available to promote local business.
  • E.C.O. Builders — Honored with the Most Resilient Business Award, which recognizes a member business affected by the recent tornadoes which reopened quickly, thus expediting community recovery.
  • Terry Lynn’s Cafe — Best Breakfast Spot, for excellence in food quality and customer service.
  • Pizza Platoon — Best Lunch Spot, for excellence in food quality and customer service.
  • Nathan’s Restaurant — Best Dinner Spot, for excellence in food quality and customer service.
  • Kathy Lowrey — Outstanding Service & Contribution Award.
  • David Kiviaho and Kiisa Corporation — Above and Beyond Award, for dedication and support of the Alliance.
