Eau Claire business owner accused of sexual assault sentenced to probation

EAU CLAIRE COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) – An Eau Claire business owner accused of sexually assaulting several clients receiving cosmetic services is sentenced to probation.

Sept. 19, 2024, online court records show 41-year-old Christopher Devlin of Altoona, owner of Renew Aesthetics in Eau Claire, Wis., pleads no contest to two counts of capture an intimate representation and one count of bail jumping-felony. The court accepts the pleas and finds Devlin guilty.

Court records also show a charge of 2nd degree sexual assault/use of force and a charge of capture an intimate representation are dismissed outright. All the remaining charges are dismissed and read in.

Devlin is placed on three years probation, and is not to perform cosmetic consultations, treatments, procedures or surgeries.
