Ella-Rae Smith Leads Quartet Of Rising UK Talents In Benacus Entertainment’s Horror ‘I’m Your Host’

EXCLUSIVE:  Benacus Entertainment has unveiled a quartet of buzzy rising UK actors who will co-star in its game show-themed slasher horror film I’m Your Host as filming get underway in Rome.

They are Ella-Rae Smith (The Stranger, Into the Badlands, Jamie Flatters (Avatar 2, 3 & 4, The Forgotten Battle), David Angland (The Devil’s Hour, Everything Now), and Joelle Rae (Get Even, The Gallery).

The movie follows four friends trapped in a sadistic game show, where they must outwit a twisted serial killer in a deadly race against time. With every move, they edge closer to freedom—or their final gruesome fate.

U.S. director DW Medoff ((Pollen, I Will Never Leave You Alone) is directing from a screenplay by Joey Miller.

Atlanta-based Benacus Entertainment is producing the film in association with Jacksonville-based company RNF Productions.

Producers Seth Michaels, Sara Sometti, Michaels and Reece Foster at Benacus Entertainment and RNF Productions are promising a fresh take on the horror genre.

“This film goes beyond the typical horror genre—delving into how trust can be manipulated unexpectedly and unsettlingly,” they said in a joint statement.

“We’re eager to see how audiences will respond to the tension and emotional complexity woven into the narrative, especially under DW’s masterful direction and with this incredible cast, brought together by our talented casting director, Heather Basten.”

Ella-Rae Smith is represented by Ruth Young & Phoebe Isles at United Agents, Jamie Flatters is represented by Sarah Spear & Grace Clissold at The Curtis Brown Group, David Angland is represented by Kate Havord at Independent Talent Group, and Joelle Rae is represented by Lindsay Kutner at Revolution Talent

Benacus Entertainment and RNF Productions previously collaborated on Dead Money, Walden, and upcoming interactive film The Run.
