BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) – “We didn’t know anybody when we moved here, so it was great way for us to get to know other families and to make more friends. So, we really wanted to create this environment where kids can just come, and feel safe, and loved; and have a wonderful birthday party if they want a birthday party here. Or just take a class and just get together as a community, and for the kids just to have fun, that was our main goal. I always tell our wonderful employees, our customers are the kids, they’re not the adults. Mom and Dad’s pay, but our customers are the kids, let’s make sure they’re having a great time.”

It’s official, Ella’s Playtown is officially open for business in Clarksburg. The indoor play area looks forward to serving the local community and providing a place for children and families to go, and simply have a good time. The playhouse offers a variety entertainment for kids to enjoy, while also giving parent’s a place to let go and allow their children to burn off some of that extra energy. The owners, Bita and Daniel Ramos, came up with the idea for this interactive, small town, when their ability to find a consistent spot to bring their daughter Ella to play wasn’t met in the local area. So, instead of complaining they just decided to build their own. Not only for Ella, but the rest of the community as well. While running around is certainly fun for kids, it’s not the only kind of fun the business is pushing. Also offering a variety of educational classes that allows children to think outside the box, but also more importantly grow.

“We want to promote education. Of course we want our kids to be outside the box thinkers, and be able to really learn things that maybe some of the public schools aren’t teaching yet. Or even if they’re ready for it, when it comes to sign language or foreign languages. We have a class where the kids will create a passport and they go around the world every week, and learn differences about the cultures and things like that. We just want to incorporate all that stuff into the community and just try to help the kids grow intellectually”

Seeing a need and filling it is the sign of a good community member; and that exactly what Ramos’ have done with Ella’s Playtown. Not only meeting the communities need of more family entertainment, but also the needs of their own daughter.

“I’m happy that my daughter can come here and play every day if she likes, and she’s well entertained. Every parent needs some me time, right? So that’s one great thing. Then of course we have family that can come and play as well, and being able to mingle. Just for the kids and the parents to mingle together, in this space, in this safe space; and have fun at the same time, that ‘s pretty much our joy.”

Today’s grand opening marks a new beginning for Ramos’; who are filled with plenty excitement and optimism. Believing they’re not only here to stay, but also to make a lasting impact and even take care of your child’s party needs.

” So, we are a one stop shop here; mom and dads just get to relax. We do it all, we do the decorations, we provide the food. We set up everything, take down everything. You just choose the package you want, you choose the theme you want; and we’re going to take care of the rest. We even bring all of the gifts to your car when your party is done. So, you can choose a class before your party or you just come in and play. Then you’re in you’re party room and then you’re all done, and from start to finish we take care of everything.”
