Emmys 2024 Red Carpet: All the Fashion, Outfits, and Looks

Before the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards begin on Sunday, the Emmys 2024 red carpet proves that stars of the small screen have some big ideas about awards season fashion. From sparkling, over-the-top accessories to timeless silhouettes, the biggest names in television didn’t shy away from showcasing some award-worthy looks on their way into the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles—Emmy nominations not required.

Father-son duo Eugene Levy and Dan Levy—who have both won Emmys for Schitt’s Creek, the sitcom they cocreated—are hosting this evening’s ceremony, which means things are sure to get off to a fashionable start. “I just think I’ve always had this strong desire to express myself through what I wear,” Dan told People of his approach to style back in January.

As for those competing for TV’s top honor? With 25 nominations, Shōgun leads the pack of 2024 Emmy nominees, while The Bear, Only Murders in the Building, and True Detective: Night Country are close behind.

Selena Gomez, who plays Mabel Mora on Hulu’s Only Murders, earned her first acting nod for the role after three seasons, with fellow lead-comedy-actress nominees including Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary), Ayo Edebiri (The Bear), Maya Rudolph (Loot), Jean Smart (Hacks), and Kristen Wiig (Palm Royale). Meanwhile, her costars on the series, Steve Martin and Martin Short, are both nominated for outstanding lead actor in a comedy series, a category in which they’ll face off against last ceremony’s winner, Jeremy Allen White (The Bear), in addition to Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Matt Berry (What We Do in the Shadows), and D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai (Reservation Dogs).
