Entertainment: Bruno Mars Milestone, Moana2 hits the skies and Netflix Restaurant in Vegas
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Bruno Mars has had the #1 song on the WORLDWIDE Billboard Music charts. This has been for 8 weeks for “Die With A Smile” from Bruno and Lady Gaga. The song has been taking the radio and download/streaming by storm. But this week it’s been beaten by another song, it’s by Bruno as well. It’s a song called “APT” that he does with Rose, a young artist from Aotearoa and South Korea. It leapfrogged to the top spot over “Die With A Smile” this week.
Hawaiian Airlines has a new boarding video, it has to do with Moana2, soon to be out in theatres. Aulii Cravahlo and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson host the video and it will feature some familiar Disney characters. Aulii Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson host The “Moana 2″ in-flight welcome video. The airline will also sport Moana designs on three planes that’ll fly U.S. domestic routes as well as to the south pacific, Australia, New Zealand and Asia through March 2025. “Moana 2″ hits theaters on November 27th!
Possible new place to eat during your next trip to Las Vegas: Netflix and M-G-M Resorts are teaming up to create a restaurant based on the streaming giant at the M-G-M Grand in Las Vegas. It will be called Netflix Bites and is slated to open next year as a one-year culinary residency serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s being promoted as a dining experience that brings M-G-M’s hospitality expertise together with Netflix’s hit titles. Patrons will be able to enjoy culinary creations inspired by “Bridgerton,” “Stranger Things” and “Squid Game.” The companies are set to break ground on construction this month — with the restaurant opening in early 20-25.
