Entertainment enthusiasts flood to the Windy City for C2E2’s 15th anniversary

CHICAGO, Illi. – Fifteen years of fun and fandom was celebrated in the Windy City over the weekend at the 2024 Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo.

C2E2 welcomed cosplayers, movie stars, comic artists and more to its 15th anniversary show.

The show floor at the McCormick Place was filled with dozens & dozens of exhibitors this year.

There were plenty of chances to make your inner child smile bright with toys, gaming, and photo ops featuring props depicting Aliens and Back to the Future.

Cosplayers from across the country made their way to Chicago by plane or train to show of their best looks, with many dressed up as characters from the world of superheroes. Check out some of the awesome pics in the gallery at the top of this article.

This year, fans had the opportunity to meet some big names from pop culture.

Some of the recognizable faces included Christopher Lloyd, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Hayden Panettiere.

Voice actors from hit shows like Rick and Morty and One Piece also gave fans a chance to get autographs and snap selfies.
