As the Space Coast braces for the approach of Hurricane Milton, these locations and events aren’t taking any chances. Here’s a list of closures and cancellations of entertainment events in Brevard.
Due to potential changes, we encourage you to check with presenting organizations about the status of their events.
Brevard Zoo
Brevard Zoo has announced that the zoo will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 9 and 10, as the state prepares for Hurricane Milton. Updates will be noted on the zoo’s website and social media.
Author Brian Freeman at BeachFly Brewing Company
BeachFly Brewing Company, 513 Barton Blvd., Rockledge, is postponing its “meet the author” night with Brian Freeman, the author of more than two dozen psychological thrillers including five Jason Bourne novels. The event will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 6:30 p.m. It was originally scheduled for Oct. 8. Call 321-305-6865 or visit beachflybrewing.com.
3-2-1 Jazz Orchestra concert
Melbourne Municipal Band‘s 3-2-1 Jazz Orchestra has cancelled its “Jazz Junction” concert at Melbourne Auditorium, originally scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 10. Visit mmband.org.
The King Center in Melbourne
The King Center, along with the EFSC campus, will be closed Tuesday through Friday, Oct. 8 through 11. The Brevard Symphony Orchestra concert scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12 is currently planned to proceed as scheduled. Visit kingcenter.com.
