Jennifer Street “Parade of Lights” Christmas Show
NORTH LAKE TAHOE, CA – Experience Incline Village’s Christmas Light Show at 972 Jennifer Street from 5:45-7:15 p.m., Friday December 13.
The show is a “must-see experience set to music.” Organizers suggest that attendees “for the best experience, “plan to watch from outside your car—bring a chair and bundle up!” They also note that “this year’s show features a food drive for nonperishable items.”

Boombox to play Crystal Bay Casino
NORTH LAKE TAHOE, CA – At 9 p.m. Friday, December 13 the electronic rock duo Boombox will take the stage at the Crystal Bay Casino. The duo is comprised of singer-songwriter Zion Godchaux and producer Russ Randolph, both of whom “have backgrounds as DJs.”
According to concert descriptions, the band was founded “in Muscle Shoals, Alabama” and “has released numerous studio albums, starting in 2005 with Visions of Backbeat. Their newest single released in June 2017 is titled “Right Around Two (Feat. Donna Jean)”. The band is known for not using setlists, instead improvising and changing their set’s direction based on the crowd’s energy.”

“Holidays at the Park” at Donner Memorial State Park Visitor Center
NORTH LAKE TAHOE, CA – From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, the Sierra State Parks Foundation invites you to join them at the Donner Memorial State Park Visitor Center for a “festive holiday celebration.”
“Enjoy children’s activities, complimentary gift wrapping in our park store, live music, seasonal snacks, and warm beverages!” says the invitation. “It’s the perfect way to embrace the holiday spirit in the cozy, inviting atmosphere of our park museum.”

Santa Ski Day at Mt. Rose
NORTH LAKE TAHOE, CA – Mt. Rose Ski Resort is offering discounted lift tickets from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 for skiers dressed as Santa – or all those entirely done up in holiday wear. “Just a Santa hat doesn’t qualify,” the resort notes.

Patagonia Film Premiere: Papsura: Peak of Evil
TAHOE CITY, Calif. – Patagonia will be premiering a new film at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (double feature – doors open at 4:30) Tuesday, December 17 at the Art Haus Theater in Tahoe City.
“The film follows professional snowboarders Nick Russell and Jerry Mark from California’s Sierra Nevada to a remote corner of the world’s greatest mountain range, as they harness years of experience in pursuit of the biggest line of their lives,” reads the description. “Tucked deep in the Indian Himalaya is a 21,100-foot behemoth called Papsura, the face of which is split by a line so perfect and massive it pushed the skills of even the most renowned ski mountaineers.”
