A brand new experience has arrived at Dave & Buster’s at the Capital City Mall in Lower Allen Township.

The entertainment venue recently unveiled upgrades that include innovative gaming, interactive social bays and 40-foot screen designed for events, sports and games.

A grand opening was held June 28 with first views of a WOW Wall and all-new high-tech darts and upgraded shuffleboard bays. The bays are like private suites and hold between two and six players.

“We are thrilled to open the new Dave & Buster’s Harrisburg as a premier entertainment destination,” said General Manager John Brooks.

The central Pa. location is one of a dozen Dave & Buster’s across the country to receive the upgrades.

“From all-new social gaming for the whole crew, to an immersive, all-in gaming experience, to a sports-watching experience that’ll have you feeling like you’re in the game— the all-new D&B has it all!” according to the website.

Dave & Buster’s says there’s no bad seat in the house thanks to the 40-foot screen which allows visitors to immerse themselves with surround sound from dozens of additional oversized HDTVs located around the bar.

The chain also revamped the menu and created a brighter, more energetic atmosphere. Its staple 120 midway games remain part of the experience.

The 28,000-square-foot Dave & Buster’s opened at the mall in October 2018.

Hours are 10 a.m.-midnight Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-1 a.m. Friday-Saturday and 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Sunday.
