EPIC Entertainment Group transforms holiday experiences at numerous leading US locations

EPIC Entertainment Group, a producer of themed entertainment, live events, and immersive environments, will again provide captivating, cutting-edge holiday experiences to visitors across the US, with an array of projects for the 2024 season.

With a reputation for creating astounding events, EPIC is growing its collection of seasonal installations and activations in strategic US markets. With innovative storytelling and state-of-the-art entertainment, the organisation is reinventing how visitors enjoy the holidays this year.

Steve Sheldon, managing partner at EPIC Entertainment Group, says: “We’re excited to once again be part of such iconic holiday events and installations across the country. This season, we’re pushing the boundaries of what holiday celebrations can be, blending tradition with innovative experiences that leave lasting impressions.”

Crafting experiences across the US

EPIC Entertainment Group has increased its role at Hersheypark’s Dark Nights and is now leading the costume, make-up, and talent departments, as announced earlier this year. The company is managing hundreds of scare actors, speciality performers, make-up artists, and wardrobe stylists for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 Halloween seasons.

Furthermore, EPIC is in its fourth year of collaboration with Miami’s Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. The company will handle all daily operations for the 83-acre facility, as well as reimagining the Garden from its Halloween-themed Haunted Birdhouse Hunt, to a festive adventure. This experience, A Very Merry Garden, provides amazing experiences and runs from fall through the holiday season.

In celebration of the 65th anniversary of the iconic Marilyn Monroe movie Some Like It Hot, which was partially filmed at the Hotel del Coronado, EPIC is back on the West Coast for the fourth year to transform the hotel with its festive Lights, Camera, Hollywood display. The renowned light show will return, together with larger coastal igloos, and festive bar experiences.

To give a new dimension to the Christmas celebrations, EPIC will also make its premiere at the Universal Hilton with snow sessions and an outdoor ice rink.

EPIC will bring holiday magic to Hawaii with an experience at the Ritz Carlton Oahu Turtle Bay. Last season, the company presented a memorable 52-surfboard Christmas tree at the Ritz Carlton. This year, visitors will be treated to carriage rides through the forest in a magical and immersive experience across the resort.

Charity Hill, managing partner at EPIC Entertainment Group, says: “EPIC has always been about crafting moments that go beyond expectations. Our team is thrilled to expand on our signature immersive storytelling, bringing joy and wonder to guests from coast to coast.”

Leading attractions

Hill and Sheldon co-founded EPIC Entertainment Group in 2016, and the company has established a reputation as the creative expertise behind some of the biggest haunted attractions in the US.

In addition to working with prestigious brands like Crayola, Hotel Del Coronado, Hersheypark, and NightGarden, the most popular holiday light show in Miami, EPIC currently oversees day-to-day operations for the renowned Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, which USA Today ranks as one of the nation’s best gardens.

Last year, EPIC Entertainment Group celebrated a record number of visitors to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden during the summer season. The company grew ticket sales, attendance, and buzz despite the “summer slump” that impacted many events and attractions across the US.
