L. SAUCON TWP., Pa. – Fresh food, flavorful drinks and fun times with friends will soon return to a familiar location in Northampton County.

B Social, a state-of-the-art, multi-entertainment and dining venue featuring cutting-edge arcade games, stylish bowling lanes, axe throwing, live music, craft beer and food and more, is set to open July 15 at 3717 Route 378 in Lower Saucon Township, according to a news release.

The entertainment hub will fill the space previously occupied by Revolutions at Saucon Valley, a multi-level entertainment and dining complex that closed in March 2019 at the Saucon Valley Square shopping center.

In 2022, it was announced that the complex’s new owner, 3717 FEC LLC, planned to keep the site as an entertainment facility.

“We’re excited to bring B Social to Lehigh Valley and the surrounding area, providing epic entertainment for guests of all ages,” B Social co-owner Kayur Popat said.

“We envision B Social as the ultimate destination for any and every type of gathering, celebration and milestone. Our open floor plan offers the flexibility to transform each section of the venue into a perfect, personalized space for any event.”

The 45,000-square-foot, two-story venue will feature activities, attractions and full-service dining while paying tribute to the Lehigh Valley’s rich culture with custom artwork throughout the venue.

Experiences located throughout the entertainment center will include: bowling, axe throwing, pool and ping pong tables, private meeting spaces, a stage for music and other live entertainment, a dance floor and a curated collection of arcade games ranging from the latest releases to nostalgic titles.

The new facility will feature 16 bowling lanes, along with axe throwing lanes and an arcade showcasing around 55 new, high-tech arcade games, Popat said.

Guests will be able to enjoy racing bikes along with games related to popular movies and comics such as The Avengers, Jurassic Park and The Wizard of Oz.

Classic games such as Skee Ball and Down the Clown also will be featured.

Axe throwing will be $20 per person for 90 minutes (maximum of people per lane) and $200 per bay for 90 minutes. Guests must be 14 years of age to participate, and guests who are 14 to 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

Bowling pricing will be $20 per lane per hour (Monday through Thursday) and $35 per lane per hour (Friday through Sunday). Shoe rental will be $4 per pair.

B Social also will feature three full-service bars, including an indoor/outdoor beer garden serving hyper-local craft beers, along with a hand-picked selection of appetizers, entrees and desserts that reflect Lehigh Valley’s culinary heritage.

In addition to experiences, B Social will boast the latest technology, including more than 70 screens and two next-generation high-performance mega-spectacular LED walls: a 34-foot dining room screen and a 24-foot experience center screen.

“We’re introducing Lehigh Valley to a new standard of entertainment,” said Zoltan Estrella, general manager of B Social.

“B Social’s cutting-edge technology, like our two LED walls, provides guests an immersive environment for watching games, enjoying music, and creating unforgettable social gatherings. We are hyped to have guests watch their favorite teams on the big screens this football season.”

The new venue has private rooms that can be booked for special events, parties, networking mixers and corporate gatherings.

It also offers various event packages for groups of all sizes. Options include party platter packages, group drink packages, bowling packages, axe-throwing packages, birthday party packages, unlimited arcade play packages, custom packages, and a venue buyout option.

“B Social is not your typical entertainment center; it’s a celebration of the vibrant culture and community that defines Bethlehem, Pennsylvania,” a venue description reads.

“Located along Route 378, B Social combines fun, friendship, and culinary delight into one unparalleled experience. More than just a venue, B Social is a hub for connection and celebration.”

3717 FEC LLC purchased the Lower Saucon site in 2022 in a deal brokered by the Colliers Retail Allentown Team. Scott Horner and Seth Lacey of Colliers represented the buyer.

The building has undergone an extensive renovation campaign, which includes installing new HVAC system and state-of-the-art sound and video system (including television and projector upgrades); reupholstering all furniture; upgrading the bowling management system to the latest high-tech Sync Center Operations; installing new and popular arcade games like Godzilla; and replacing all the refrigeration and beer coolant lines.

“What sets us apart from other venues in the area is our unique blend of activities and ambiance that truly captures the spirit of the Lehigh Valley,” B Social co-owner Mike Patel said.

Patel and Popat are no stranger to the dining and entertainment industry. The pair also owns and operates El Jefe, a newly opened restaurant and event hub in Norristown.

At B Social, they implemented around $5 million worth of renovations, adding several “very high-tech” upgrades, Popat said.

“We added a brand new scoring system,” Popat said.

“You’ll be able to order food right from your lanes from the scoring system. We also got two LED walls in there now. So, it’s going to be pretty state-of-the-art.”

The new facility also will feature three bars and a full-service restaurant serving hand-crafted pizza, tacos, wings and other American pub fare, Popat said.

“Craving something delicious?” a message on the business’ Instagram page reads. “Our diverse menu – crafted with love and creativity – will capture the area’s culinary heritage and every bite will be a flavorful journey.”

B Social will occupy a renovated building that previously housed a handful of other businesses.

Originally, the building was home to Hoyts Saucon Valley Cinema 10 movie theater when it opened in 1998.

The multiplex transitioned to Regal Cinemas in the mid-2000s before that theater closed in 2011.

Frank Entertainment, a movie theater and family entertainment company in Florida, opened Revolutions at Saucon Valley in January 2013.

The venue featured a 20-lane bowling alley, arcade with around 50 games, sports amphitheater with projection screens, full-service restaurant and two bars.

It was part of a chain that included entertainment facilities in a various states, and locations in Philadelphia and South Carolina closed around the same time as the Lower Saucon complex.

The B Social team describes the forthcoming facility as “the ultimate entertainment hub” and invites the community to “strike up some fun.”

The venue is joining more than a dozen other Saucon Valley Square tenants, including Maxx Fitness Clubzz, Dollar Tree, Se-Wy-Co Beverage, Werkheiser Jewelers Ltd., Casa Mia Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant and pet supply and grooming retailer Chaar.

Saucon Valley Laundromat and Plaza Azteca, a full-service Mexican restaurant, opened at the shopping center in 2023.
