In a significant enhancement to its network schedule, Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the UAE, is celebrating the commencement of flights to eight new destinations this June, expanding its total summer routes to 76.
Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer at Etihad, said: “It is an exciting month for Etihad as we deliver on our plans to expand our network with eight additional locations. We are launching flights to three important sites – Bali, Jaipur and Al Qassim – which we can see from our forward-bookings are already proving popular with our guests.
“At the same time, we’ve commenced operations to new seasonal destinations and returned to popular summer hotspots. We’re looking forward to welcoming our guests on board this summer and conveniently connecting more people to more places around the world.”
During this Eid holiday, Etihad launched direct flights to popular summer locations such as Nice on the French Riviera and Antalya on the Turkish Riviera, in addition to resuming services to the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini. Earlier in June, Etihad also reintroduced its seasonal flights to Málaga, a beloved Spanish holiday destination.
This week, Etihad initiated direct flights to Jaipur, famously known as the Pink City and a major tourist attraction in Rajasthan, India. This addition brings Etihad’s gateways in India to 11, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to the Indian market by enhancing connectivity and convenience.
On Monday, June 24, Etihad will introduce a new service to Al Qassim, its fourth destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al Qassim is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, vibrant markets, and lush date palm groves.
The following day, June 25, Etihad will launch its inaugural flight to Bali, Indonesia. This service not only provides a direct connection for UAE travelers to the island paradise but also offers convenient connections for visitors from Europe, North America, and the GCC.
Etihad will operate flights to Bali four times a week, giving travelers the chance to experience the ultimate tropical island getaway. From pristine beaches to breathtaking green rice fields, visitors can immerse themselves in local culture or simply enjoy the serenity that Bali is famous for.
