Everything To Know about Summer House Star Danielle Olivera’s Fashion App

Danielle Olivera is rubbing her roomies and viewers the wrong way this season of Summer House. You would have thought Danielle would have learned her lesson after butting into Lindsay Hubbard’s drama last year. But she’s is back at it, handing out her two cents when it wasn’t ever asked for.

Thankfully, Danielle isn’t spending all her time just questioning her friend’s dating lives. The boss b*tch is all about making her work dreams come true. The Bravo star has always had a background in finance, but she has also dabbled in technology. While working in the FinTech industry, Danielle was a proud product manager who worked with coders to build some pretty impressive software.

Danielle’s fashion app

Remembering back to Season 6 Episode 5, Danielle noted that she “decided to quit my job in corporate fintech to start my own fashion app. This app is a make-or-break situation, so I’m scared out of my mind.” After less than two years of hard work, Danielle’s dream finally came true. During the last episode of Summer House, she claimed that “as a founder and CEO,” she learned how to talk to people. Cue to Gabby Prescod crying in the shower and Paige DeSorbo questioning what Danielle founded, and now I find that I have no actual idea what Danielle was referring to.

But after a little snooping, I found that Dani had started her own business. Entitled, Donne, the cast member, wanted to create something for the “everyday female.” Thanks to the company’s website, followers will “always have something to wear.” The mobile app was designed to assist consumers with their fashion choices. The site states, “Users can not only manage their digital wardrobes, but also send outfits and lookbooks to friends, get daily styling recommendations, and even hire a professional to help with everyday needs.”

Fashionista in the making

Danielle co-founded Donne with her business partner, Jim Brocat, and in March 2023, the Summer House star gave some insight via The Daily Dish. Just five months after her app’s launch, Danielle gushed, “I have an amazing team, but it’s a small team. I’m looking to raise some capital so we can expand it and get it done a bit quicker. We are starting this from scratch. A lot of it has been built, and it’s really exciting.” In perhaps an even cooler accomplishment, Danielle announced via her Instagram that she had teamed up with Waverles, who is now creating exclusive merchandise for the company.

For the big collab announcement, Danielle wrote, “At Donne, our mission is to make sure you always have something to wear — whether that’s through the help of our app digitizing your entire wardrobe or now, through our newly launched merch ensuring you have a sweatshirt or sweats on hand that you can reliably throw on any day of the week for comfort, durability, and of course style.”

Gizmos and gadgets

Perhaps the coolest thing is that Donne offers a unique opportunity to upload and view all of your clothes in the platform’s digital wardrobe. The app wants you to share your creations with other users to cultivate a personal style. Currently, there is a waitlist for becoming a member of Donne. The site instructs users that “you will need a waitlist code to subscribe and access the app. Joining the waitlist lets us know you’re interested in joining the app. When you’re up, we’ll email you a waitlist code to start your Donne journey!”

Once members of Donne, users can receive daily styling recommendations and even hire a professional to help with their everyday needs. There is also the option to be a Donne Styling Professional. If hired, the job description states that the main goal is to help individuals by offering services in styling, closet organization, item sourcing, and capsule creation “to more effectively run their businesses.”

I am genuinely hoping Summer House fans will be able to see Danielle’s business grow just like we have watched Loverboy explode.
