The angels have their wings again.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show returns Tuesday night in New York City after a five-year hiatus.

The annual runway show, which debuted in 1995, was canceled in 2019 amid of series of scandals and backlash from critics who slammed the lingerie brand for lacking diversity and inclusivity.

Edward Razek, the former chief marketing officer of Victoria’s Secret’s former parent company L Brands who resigned in 2019, sparked controversy in a Vogue interview when dismissing ideas of integrating inclusivity in the runway spectacular “because the show is a fantasy.”

He was later accused of harassment and perpetuating a “culture of misogyny, bullying and harassment” at the company.

In May, Victoria’s Secret announced that the runway show was returning and “will reflect who we are today.”

“We’ve read the comments and heard you,” the brand said, adding that the 2024 show will include “the glamour, runway, wings, musical entertainment, and more!”

When is the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024?

The show is taking place at the Victoria’s Secret flagship store in NYC on Tuesday, Oct. 15.

How to watch the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024

It airs at 7 p.m. EST on Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Live, as well as the brand’s YouTube, Instagram and TikTok pages.

The pink carpet pre-show, hosted by Tefi Pessoa and Olivia Culpo, begins at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Victoria’s Secret is also hosting a watch party in the Penn District for fans.

What models are returning in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024?

There are many famous Victoria’s Secret “angels” participating in this year’s show, including Adriana Lima, Tyra Banks, Gigi Hadid, Ashley Graham, Barbara Palvin, Behati Prinsloo, Imaan Hammam, Jasmine Tookes, Paloma Elsesser, Candice Swanepoel, Devyn Garcia and Taylor Hill.

Lima, 43, has been in the most VS fashion shows of any other model, with 19 total appearances before tonight’s show.

The Brazilian model, who retired from Victoria’s Secret in 2018, confirmed her return to the runway in an Instagram video, where she gets into a taxi cab and tells the driver, “I’m going home.”

Heidi Klum is not expected to walk in the event this year.

Who is performing in the Secret Fashion Show 2024?

Cher is headlining the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

“It’s a woman’s world, so it’s understood that you can’t have a fashion show without the mother of fashion herself—@Cher!” the brand wrote on Instagram in September. “We’re beyond excited to announce she will officially be performing at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024 on October 15.”

K-pop star Lisa and and singer Tyla are also performing at this year’s show.

“Growing up, I was captivated by the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – the stunning outfits, iconic wings, and charismatic models,” Tyla, 22, said in a statement last month.

“Now, I’m thrilled to be performing on this nostalgic and legendary stage. What’s even more exciting is the celebration of diversity, showcasing a broader range of beauty, which makes this moment truly special,” she added.
