Everything You Need to Know About La Maison, Apple TV+’s Scintillating New Drama About the Fashion Set

With Apple TV+’s The New Look—chronicling the life and work of Christian Dior—landing last February, and Becoming Karl Lagerfeld following on Hulu in June, 2024 has undeniably been the year of the fashion (television) show.

Now, Apple TV+ is re-entering the fray with La Maison, a new series in which drama and the haute couture intertwine within a powerful family, played by a star-studded cast.

Over the course of 10 hour-long episodes, La Maison takes viewers behind the scenes of a fashion house run by a family dynasty besieged by power struggles and ego battles.

Thrust into scandal following the release of a video implicating its star designer, Vincent LeDu (played by Lambert Wilson), the house must quickly determine its next steps. In the eye of the storm, Perle Foster (Amira Casar)—LeDu’s former muse who has remained in his shadow for far too long—rallies around Paloma Castel (Zita Hanrot), a visionary young stylist, to take control of the institution that Maison LeDu represents to the Parisian fashion world.
